Denominational Health Care in BC

The Master Agreement between the Province of BC and the Denominational Health Association (a registered non-profit association) was signed in 1995
The agreement recognizes the rights of owners of denominational care facilities to own, manage, operate and conduct the affairs of their respective facilities and to carry out their respective religious missions
The agreement obligates the owners to meet provincial standards and national accreditation for health care, meet the condition of any agreements with teaching facilities and to plan and deliver health care services in collaboration with other health bodies
