In order to refer a patient to one of the endocrine surgeons, Drs. Bugis, Melck or Wiseman at St. Paul's Hospital, please fax a referral form with relevant information to our office; Drs. Bugis or Wiseman (604) 806-9957; Dr. Melck (604) 568-6214.

The endocrine surgeons work in collaboration. Unless otherwise specified by the referral, patients may be scheduled to see the first available surgeon. This strategy is used to reduce waiting times for all patients. If the patient has an urgent problem (e.g., cancer), include this in the referral letter and the patient will be prioritized.

All patients who wish to see an endocrine surgeon at St. Paul's Hospital will need a referral from a physician. All relevant background information should be sent with the referral (including reports from CT scan, ultrasound, MRI, and relevant consultations).
