Vancouver, November 14, 2007 St. Paul’s Lights of Hope display “goes live” this Friday at 6:50 pm.

10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 … LIGHTS ON!!!!

These are the words that will echo outside St. Paul’s Hospital this Friday, November 16 at 6:50 pm when more than 400 candle-carrying guests gather at Burrard and Helmcken to launch the hospital’s 2007 Lights of Hope display.

When the countdown is complete, the massive light display, a fundraiser for St. Paul’s Hospital Foundation, will be officially switched on followed by a firework display high above the hospital.

The best vantage point for filming or taking photographs is the intersection of Burrard and Helmcken opposite the hospital.

TV news assignment editors, please note that there is reserved space for satellite truck parking as the first block of Helmcken Street (between Burrard and Hornby) will be closed to regular traffic for the course of the event.
